Humanoid Figure with Carried Objects – Sol 1386

Curiosity Right Mastcam (M-100)

This transmission from Sol 1386 reveals a **strange humanoid life form** partially embedded in the Martian terrain. The face is clearly visible—**eyes, nose, mouth, and brow**—with what appears to be **hair or a textured head covering**. The being seems to wear a **dark garment or fur-like coat**, and one **arm is visible**, bent at the elbow and possibly resting or gesturing.

Between the head and shoulder, we observe **three round objects**—smooth, clustered, and distinct from the surrounding terrain. Their placement suggests intentionality. They may be **carried items**, possibly **fruit, food, or symbolic tools**. This motif appears in other Mars Alive discoveries, hinting at a **shared cultural behavior** among surface-adapted Martians.

Captured in the **Murray Formation** near Mount Sharp, this region is composed of **fine-grained sedimentary rock**, shaped by ancient water flow and wind erosion. Curiosity’s Mastcam (M-100) was surveying **layered outcrops and fractured surfaces**, ideal for preserving embedded forms. The lighting and angle in this frame reveal **depth, shadow, and texture**, allowing the humanoid figure to stand out against the rocky backdrop.
