Little Green Men – Humanoid Observer on Mars

This anomaly from Sol 1429 appears to show a **humanoid being with green skin**, standing upright and facing the Curiosity Rover. The figure has **distinct facial features**—eyebrows, nose, and an open mouth—and what looks like **antennas protruding from its head**. The posture and gaze suggest awareness, as if the being is observing the rover’s movements or studying its behavior.

The clarity of the face and the symmetry of the features make this one of the most compelling humanoid anomalies in the archive. Whether biological or sculptural, the presence feels intentional. This is not erosion—it’s expression.

Captured in Gale Crater’s layered terrain, this region is composed of wind-sculpted sandstone and ancient lakebed deposits. Curiosity was conducting Mastcam imaging to analyze surface textures and mineral composition. The lighting and angle in this frame reveal subtle contours and shadow depth—ideal conditions for exposing embedded forms. The surrounding terrain shows signs of sedimentary layering and erosion, possibly revealing structures that were once buried.
