This anomaly from Sol 882 has become one of the most talked-about discoveries in the Mars Alive archive. Captured during a time-lapse sequence of Curiosity’s drilling operation, the footage appears to show a tiny humanoid figure hovering into view. The being seems to dismount from a small craft—barely larger than a pebble—and activate a release of smoke or gas. The flow is then pulled inward, as if being absorbed or refueled. Some viewers suggest it’s just debris kicked up by the drill. But others, like myself, see something more. Something deliberate. Something alive.
