THE MARTIAN HILLS HAVE EYES

        MISSION LOG: ANCIENT STATUARY OR SENTINEL    

   

        ROVER: **Curiosity** · IMAGE: **Sol 1286 (Right Mastcam)**    

   

        ANOMALY: **Colossal Humanoid Head/Sculpture**    

   

        NOTE: **Gaze fixed on the Rover**    

At first glance, this anomaly captured on **Sol 1286** appeared to be a pyramid—angular, symmetrical, and rising from the Martian hillside. But upon closer inspection of the Curiosity Right Mastcam image, the illusion shifts. What emerges is a **humanoid head**: sculpted, shadowed, and unmistakably expressive.

The features suggest a distinct Asian likeness. The scale? **Colossal**. Could this be a statue? A fossilized sentinel? Or something still alive—emerging from underground to observe the Curiosity Rover? The terrain around it seems disturbed, as if something moved to reveal this ancient face. The gaze is fixed. The mythos deepens.
