ANOMALY: **Giant Monolithic Head / Moai**

INSTRUMENT: **Left Mastcam** (M-34)

This striking image from Curiosity on Sol 1003 captures a colossal head carved directly into the Martian terrain, bearing an **eerie resemblance to the Moai statues of Easter Island**. It is captured in a **profile angle**, clearly showing a single, watchful eye, a **very long nose**, and an intimidatingly **monstrous mouth**. The sheer scale and intentional design suggest an ancient, high-level civilization.

The head appears deliberately **squished downward**, a common distortion seen in NASA's releases that we suspect is **image manipulation** intended to obscure the true nature or height of the artifact. The powerful, non-friendly features of this figure raise the critical question: Does NASA know which Martian life forms are **benign** and which are **aggressive**? This process of documenting and concealing menacing relics may be part of their effort to determine who humanity can safely coexist with when the inevitable manned mission to Mars finally takes place.
