ACTIVITY: **Image Capture**

INSTRUMENT: **Mastcam**

In this image from the Curiosity Rover, we see what appears to be **two humanoid beings** observing an **alien craft**—possibly one from Earth. The distinct shapes, posture, and positioning of the two figures suggest **intelligent awareness** and interaction with the scene. Whether this is an extreme case of pareidolia or something more, the image evokes a powerful sense of an alien encounter being documented by NASA's own camera.
