Motion Detected on Mars

MISSION LOG: SURFACE MOVEMENT

ROVER: **Curiosity** (MSL) · SOL: **60**

ACTIVITY: **Hazard Avoidance Camera Imaging**

INSTRUMENT: **Rear Left Hazcam**

Using nine images from the Curiosity Rover, I created an animation that reveals **movement on the surface of Mars**. The first anomaly appears to show something moving underground—possibly sunlight reflecting off the rover. The second anomaly looks like an **arm moving up and down**. But when the rover got closer, NASA made it all look like rock.
